What does my domain cost from the second year?

It is shown for every extension right under the first-year price, in the same size. For .de it is currently €19.00 per additional year, incl. 19 % German VAT. The search shows you the price of every extension.

How long am I bound, and how do I cancel?

You can cancel in the customer area or via “Cancel contracts here” at the bottom of every page.

Can I bring my existing domain?

Yes. You need the transfer code (AuthInfo, auth code) of your current provider. Your settings move with you; the import fetches your mail into a new mailbox. Whether the transfer extends the term at the registry depends on the extension.

Do I need an email package to receive mail at my domain?

No. With the email forwarding included in every domain, mail to info@ and other addresses lands in your existing mailbox. You get mailboxes of your own with an email package.

Where is my data processed?

In the EU and the EEA. Public content and DNS resolution also run through locations outside the EEA, for example our name servers in New York and Singapore, so your domain is reachable there.
